Another DVD Review

Well, we finally have had some time to watch some dvd's. Here is one we really thought worthy of sharing, it's The Lake House. Ok, it's a chick flick, but actually it was pretty good. Here's the Blockbuster.com review:

Full Synopsis:
Two people develop an unusual relationship that bends the boundaries of time and place in this romantic fantasy. Kate Forster (Sandra Bullock) is a doctor who lives in a beautiful home by a lake. Forced to move elsewhere, she requests that any correspondence that arrives at the lake house be passed on to her new address. To her surprise, she soon receives a romantic note from Alex Burnham (Keanu Reeves), an architect who lives in the cottage she once called home. However, a look at the postmark on the letter reveals that he lived at the home two years before she did, and that somehow they've come in contact with one another through a space in time. A remake of Lee Hyun-seung's acclaimed Korean romance Il Mare (aka Siworae), The Lake House was the first American production from Argentinean filmmaker Alejandro Agresti; the supporting cast includes Christopher Plummer, Dylan Walsh, and Lynn Collins. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

The new year is rolling rolling rolling...

Dang. The year might as well be over with by now since I haven't posted in a while!! I've been working a bunch of o.t. here lately and I just haven't had any time to relax. But, even though I'm on day shift this week, I thought I'd try to get in here and at least let ya'll know we are still alive and well.

Mik is sick this week (sounds like a touch of the flu) and Susan has had the computers all tied up. She is on the yearbook committee for the school. (I don't remember getting a yearbook in elementary school???) Jeremy is has decided NOT to go to the PCC high school (he was going to but bailed out last minute). So he's still at Mulberry, and as long as he's getting good grades, that's all we care about.

OK, enough babbling. Talk to ya'll later. Here's a few pics from the recent holidays. :-)
