This coming Friday night, the Mulberry Relay for Life will be in full swing. It's an all night "walkathon" that represents that cancer never sleeps and that we need to relentlessly persue a cure. Last year Sikes was involved and everyone involved had a great time. This year, Sikes is looking to do even better. I unfortunately have to pass on some more bad news in regards to another cancer child. Taylor was a beautiful, full of life, red-headed young lady that fought an extremely long battle with cancer. Yesterday (Sunday 4/22/07) she lost her battle. She was only 12 years old. We were blessed to meet and know Taylor and her family. She was a extremely brave person. Please join us in saying a prayer for her family and please take a moment to pray for all the kids that are sick and fighting for their lives. It all doesn't seem fair. Though we are devestated to hear this news, we know that she is with God and she is no longer having to fight this battle...

..The truth is, she has now won her battle.
